POSITION OVERVIEW

Harbor Health is looking for an experienced Site Manager to become a member of our team at the Round Rock location! Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in Austin, TX area utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it, allowing everyone to fully flourish. The Clinic Site Managers are responsible for overseeing all administrative and business aspects of the practice, aligning with the Regional Manager and Head of Clinical Operations.

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Operational Management: Manage daily clinic activities, ensuring smooth and efficient primary care, multiple specialties, and express care operations.
  • Staff Management: Coordinate staffing, coverage, and procedures, including hiring, training, and supervising staff to ensure needs of the facility are met in a timely manner.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, review, submit and implement policies and procedures aligned with organizational key targets.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Communicate with various departments to coordinate services, resolve operational problems, and improve patient care quality.
  • Financial Management: P&L oversight, growth strategies and monitoring of KPIs
  • Quality Improvement: Investigate, resolve, and document resolutions of patient complaints.
  • Communication: Provide information to physicians, community groups, and referral agencies about programs provided by practices.
  • Project Management: Leads complex projects including growth initiatives.

  • Financial Acumen: Financial and accounting skills along with in-depth knowledge of health care finance best practices, MORs, and P&L Statements
  • Growth: Compare practice operating expenses to industry benchmarks and recommend cost reduction strategies while offering volume growth strategies.
  • Change Management: Aptitude for driving change within the organization through the implementation of streamlined processes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess KPI metrics and inform decision-making.
  • Template Development: Responsible for provider template management; including creating, opening, closing, and monitoring of schedules. Evaluates provider panels and monitors provider productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively.
  • Systems Thinking: Proven track record in bringing creativity and processes with proven project management skills, combining strategic skills and a hands-on approach
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate and lead in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Communication: Ability to develop impactful communication plans at all levels, in a concise and didactical way, in support of areas of responsibility.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and review financial data and statistical reports with physicians monthly.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6 years of experience; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience: 4 Years of management experience
  • Reporting Structure: 10-15 direct reports and 10-12 indirect reports
  • Manage the growth and development of specialties and express cares within your practice.
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks at a time in a dynamic environment without direct supervision
  • Deep knowledge of practice disciplines including revenue cycle, billing, and human resources.
  • Experience with medical terminology, health care management, human resources, accounting, health care law and ethics.
  • Strong facilitation skills, basic business acumen, analytical and strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
  • Highly organized and with experience in time management skills for themselves and their team
  • People-centered change management skills, agile and resilient
  • Ability to travel and work at other office and clinic locations as necessary
