POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing & Activation Manager will play a key role in growing Harbor Health’s presence and engagement strategies as we expand our clinically driven insurance model in the Austin healthcare market. This role is ideal for a creative, adaptable, and hands-on marketer who is excited to work in a mission-driven, growth-focused environment. You will have the opportunity to develop local marketing tactics, collaborate with sales teams, and build strong connections with communities to drive awareness, trust, and enrollment.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Marketing & Brand Growth
  • Help execute community multi-channel marketing campaigns .
  • Assist in crafting compelling messaging and promotional strategies.
  • Support brand-building efforts to create awareness and credibility in the Austin market.
• Community Engagement & Event Activation
  • Assist in planning and executing community activations, sponsorships, and local marketing efforts.
  • Build relationships with community partners to extend Harbor Health’s reach.
  • Represent Harbor Health at events, ensuring a strong and welcoming presence.
• Sales & Broker Support
  • Participate in customizing marketing materials, presentations, and digital content for sales teams and brokers.
  • Help coordinate and promote sales events, webinars, and outreach programs.
  • Gather insights from sales teams and community partners to refine marketing strategies.
• Member & Provider Engagement
  • Support member outreach initiatives to improve engagement and retention.
  • Use feedback from members and partners to enhance marketing efforts.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2-4 years medical field or marketing experience

• Passion for marketing, storytelling, and community engagement

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Creative problem solver with a willingness to learn and adapt

• Basic knowledge of social media, digital marketing, or community outreach (formal experience is a plus, but not required)

• Experience in event planning, sponsorships, or customer engagement is helpful but not necessary

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing organization where responsibilities may evolve

• Interest in healthcare, insurance, or mission-driven work is a plus

• Willingness to learn and collaborate with sales teams, and community partners.
• Adaptability and creativity in a growing organization with evolving needs.

Expectations

• This position must be based in the greater Austin area.
• Additionally, this is a mobile position, moving between multiple clinics and events using both your own vehicle and a company van. Mileage will be reimbursed.
• From time to time, this role will require weekend and evening commitments.
