Position Overview: The Senior Manager – Planning will play a critical role in driving Zepto’s growth by optimizing demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management. This role requires a deep understanding of end-to-end planning processes and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in ensuring operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking and execution excellence to build scalable planning frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic planning frameworks to optimize business performance.

Lead demand forecasting and supply planning initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, finance, marketing, and operations to align planning strategies with overall business objectives.

Analyze market trends, business performance, and customer demand to provide actionable insights.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and reduce inefficiencies.

Utilize advanced analytics and planning tools to optimize inventory levels and minimize risks.

Ensure adherence to industry best practices and compliance with internal and external regulations.

Mentor and develop a high-performing planning team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in strategic planning, demand planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data interpretation and decision-making.

Proficiency in planning software such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or equivalent tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or e-commerce industries.

Knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.

Strong project management and process improvement capabilities.

Familiarity with automation and AI-driven planning tools.
