Zepto is a fast-growing startup that delivers groceries in 10 minutes flat through an optimized network of dark stores that we're building across the country! We’re scaling up rapidly across India with operations live across Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

We are incredibly well funded – we recently announced fundraising from Indian and Global investors that include Y Combinator, Nexus Venture Partners, Glade Brook, and more! We’ve also built out one of the best startup teams in India, with Senior Executives from Uber, Flipkart, Dream11, and institutions like Stanford, INSEAD, IIM, and IIT.

Your Role

- Solve ambiguous problems through a structured framework. Priorities high impact work, execute and communicate the insights to senior management

- Take ownership of business metrics end to end from extracting and exploring data, generating hypotheses, building a structured analysis, automating repetitive tasks, and rigorously evaluating methods and results

- Design and maintain segmentation strategies to personalize and improve user behavior their engagement rates to improve conversion, retention, ARPU and CLTV

- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, market share, promotion efficacy, distribution channels and pricing effectiveness. Provide reports and actionable insights to senior management

- Leading experiments' design, implementation, and analysis (A/B tests, synthetic controls, etc) to size opportunities to prioritize business decisions. Create and Drive a culture of learning through experimentation

- Ability to solve and mentor the team to solve diverse set of high impact ambiguous problems simultaneously

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years in delivering analytical results in B2C consumer internet companies

- Proficient in business intelligence tools and data warehouse i.e. SQL, MS Power

BI/Looker/Superset, and MS Excel, etc.

- Strong analytical, statistical analysis and communication skills to extract

insights and recommendations

- Some understanding of Statistics and prior experience in building statistical

models (e.g. hypothesis testing, product experimentation, A/B Testing,

regressions)

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible business impact in time-

critical situations

- You have demonstrated experience working cross-functionally, with various

stakeholders and exerted a high degree of influence across several

teams/functions leading to successful outcomes.

- Mentor analyst to help the team grow and deliver impactful results
