ZAGENO is looking for a self-starter, detail-oriented and dynamic software quality assurance automation engineer who will use a mix of manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of marketplace experience. The successful candidate will work closely with software developers, product owners, stakeholders in an agile environment, testing web applications, APIs, and backend applications.

In this role you will:

• Work with product managers to understand the business scenarios to create test
  strategy and plan,
• Design, develop, and maintain test automations, as per the identified plan, for web and
  backend applications,
• Create, modify, and execute automated tests, and analyze test results to identify defects
  or areas for improvement,
• Collaborate with the development and product owner teams to clarify requirements,
  design test cases, and resolve issues,
• Assess, document and report quality status on deliverables and conduct root cause
  analysis of defects,
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning
  new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and
  learning to mentor other members of the engineering community,
• Be a relentless advocate for end users and customers.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field,
• At least 5 years of QA Automation experience,
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium Webdriver,
  Protractor or Appium,
• Strong knowledge of languages such as JavaScript or Java,
• Expertise in Behavior-driven-development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber, Jasmine or Mocha,
• Working knowledge of Web Service testing using tools such as POSTMAN, SoapUI, and
  Fiddler,
• Experience with Performance testing tools like Neoload, JMeter or LoadRunner,
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, knowledge of the software
  development life cycle, Agile methodology implementing and the continuous
  integration/DevOps model.

What sets you apart:

• Domain knowledge of eCommerce or Marketplaces,
• Experience with setting up test automation for CDI pipelines, for Cloud based deployments.
