Important Note

This is a sales role, not an operations or strategy position. You’ll be hands-on from day one—prospecting, testing messaging, shaping the funnel, and learning by doing. If you’re here to build, not spectate, this is your shot.

What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a Commercial Associate to help us drive top-of-funnel growth and define how we go to market. You’ll work directly with the founders and senior commercial team. You don’t need SaaS or sales experience—but you do need brains, grit, and curiosity.

This is designed for people switching careers—consultants, lawyers, bankers, policy analysts, high-performers in intense environments—who want to enter tech through a commercial track and rise quickly.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and identify high-potential accounts across industries

  • Write intelligent outbound that cuts through noise and lands with senior legal teams

  • Run and refine outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channels

  • Support sales calls, proposals, and early customer onboarding

  • Build GTM processes from scratch alongside our founders

  • Analyze performance and own pipeline hygiene in the CRM

  • Help shape Wordsmith’s commercial engine from the ground up

About You

  • 1–2 years of experience in consulting, law, banking, or similar

  • Top academic background or other proof of outlier performance

  • Strong communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal

  • Energized by hard work and tight feedback loops

  • Intellectually curious and commercially sharp

  • Motivated by impact, not prestige

  • Hungry to learn how to build and sell in an elite early-stage environment

Compensation

  • £25,000 base salary

  • £15,000 performance bonus tied to personal and team targets

  • Equity available after 6 months based on performance

  • Regular reviews with rapid growth opportunity
