Wordsmith is building a secure highly scalable legal AI, designed for teams at some of the biggest companies in the world to scale AI across their enterprise. While ensuring that our systems use best in class security we are integrating with our clients data and feed it into our uniquely performant models. Our ex-Meta, Skyscanner, KPMG, Travelperk team is a combination of lawyers and engineers. We are blending these two words to build AI that can truly out perform somme of the best models in the world in this domain.

We have a strong product market fit, going from founding to tens of thousands of requests a day in less than 6 months.

  • We are finding demand in some of the fastest growing most progressive enterprises in the world and are working closely with some of the top law firms to generate unique data sets.

  • Our team has done this before, having built and exited multiple unicorns, big tech and leading law firms.

Why is this role important?

As a sales executive you will be helping to drive Wordsmith's growth. Working in a very high pace environment helping position our product with prospective clients, nurturing and closing leads and maintaining a high quality revenue operations toolkit.

What are we looking for and what will you be doing:

  • Prospecting and managing outbound and inbound leads for english speaking markets;

  • Working the majority of your time from our office in Edinburgh and collaborating with the rest of the Wordsmith team;

  • Presenting demos to potential clients and owning the follow-up until closing the deal (Full sales cycle);

  • Understanding the challenges our customers are facing and ensuring that we are honest and constructive about how we can help them;

  • Speaking directly to legal teams and relating to the challenges they face;

  • Maintaining accurate information on prospects and interaction activities in our CRM;

  • Learn our product inside out and engaging deeply with the R&D team to help craft it.

What are the role requirements?

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Own your entire pipeline, from leads to close.

  • Report clearly on your progress and keep the CRM up to date.

  • Follow the rules of engagement and work effectively with the rest of the team.

  • Have a high EQ and listen to our customers, understanding what they are really looking to solve and helping them as much as possible, we would always prefer to play for the long term rather than burn a lead today.

  • To engage in the community and the eco-system and push beyond email and our CRM.
