About the Opportunity
As a Facilities and Sanitation Supervisor, you are a highly organized, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced operational environments. You are a natural "fixer" who can pivot from analyzing ticketing data to troubleshooting a walk-in cooler without missing a beat. You take pride in ownership and are committed to maintaining a safe, high-functioning facility that enables our teams to do their best work.
Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
The Impact You Will Have
On-Site Support (New Jersey)
Oversee all facilities operations for the kitchen, loading dock, and sanitation teams at our Parsippany, New Jersey office, acting as the main point of contact for staff and vendors
Maintain a compliant and safe environment by overseeing and implementing all health and safety standards
Work closely with the culinary team to address kitchen and equipment-related facilities needs
Manage and coordinate with external vendors for repairs, maintenance, and projects (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
Remain available on-call for occasional after-hours office emergencies
Team Management
Direct all personnel operations, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and timesheet approval for the New Jersey facilities team
Oversee the Delivery & Receiving Coordinator to ensure seamless logistics and precise inventory management for all incoming culinary supplies and beverages
Supervise the Facilities & Maintenance Technician, ensuring high standards of execution for repairs, preventative maintenance, and the long-term functionality of kitchen fixtures
Manage the Sanitation team lead and coordinators, holding the team accountable for the rigorous cleaning of common areas and the consistent execution of kitchen sanitation protocols
Coach and develop direct reports, conducting regular performance check-ins to ensure operational goals and safety standards are met
Ticketing System Management:
Serve as the primary owner of the Workplace team's JIRA ticketing system to maintain a high internal satisfaction rating
Actively monitor, prioritize, and delegate all incoming service requests
Assign tickets to the appropriate team members or vendors and ensure all requests are resolved in a timely and professional manner
Analyze ticket data to identify trends, address recurring issues, and improve overall service efficiency
Reporting and Collaboration
Report directly to the Workplace Manager, providing regular updates on facilities operations, key metrics, and project status
Collaborate with various internal teams, including Culinary, IT, HR, and Security
What You Bring to the Table
Proven experience in a facilities management or operations role, preferably with multi-site responsibilities, with occasional night and weekend support required
Experience with facilities management software or general ticketing systems
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and maintenance procedure
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate a high-volume industrial kitchen environment
Comfortable working in cold environments for extended period
Bilingual preferred
New Jersey: $27.40 - $30.55 per hour.
Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
