About The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic leader to lead a team of partnership managers working with large sized (200+) Enterprise clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring your Account Managers cultivate strong corporate relationships and your Associates are focused on growing the Franchised side of the brand on Grubhub. This leader will be tasked with growing successful partnerships by overseeing client experience and expectations while building the value of Grubhub
You will oversee the development, implementation, scaling, and management of this team- focused on operational excellence and execution.
The Impact You Will Make
Hire, train, lead, and coach 6-7 team members to be successful Account Managers through account onboarding, activation, and ongoing partnership expansion efforts
Develop strong consultative relationships with Enterprise Brands as an escalation contact at Grubhub, instill trust and loyalty with all corporate contacts and franchise owners (when applicable)
Understand and demonstrate Grubhub’s unique value proposition; educate decision makers about Grubhub, its affiliate sites and all products that will enhance the restaurant, diner, and driver experience on our platforms
Support and participate in complete Account Reviews every 1-3 months with corporate primary contacts, serving as management sponsor with key relationships
Introduce and recommend additional Grubhub products to grow partnership
Route all escalations in a timely manner to correct internal departments and ensure proper expectations are set with the client
Coordinate with other departments for account generation, training on Grubhub tools, and scheduling Go Lives for all locations
Help your restaurant partners attract new diners and increase orders while maintaining a high quality of service to diners
Manage integration discussions across third-parties, the client, and the internal Product & Engineering teams. Act as an advocate for clients internally while working across many departments to solve problems and achieve results
Have a deep understanding of client contracts and economics to optimize account profitability
Attend client and industry conferences as a representative of Grubhub
Mentor and develop people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals
Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies
What You Bring to the Table
Chicago Office based
Scrappy, positive attitude
Bachelor’s degree
4 years of Management experience preferred. 2+ years required.
4 years of Account Management experience. Experience working with (or selling to) restaurant owners is a major plus. Restaurant experience is also a plus.
Proven track record of coaching early-career talent, developing high-performing teams, and creating clear career development plans
Superior written and verbal communication skills, comfortable on the phone and in-person
Strong customer-facing presence; comfortable engaging with stakeholders
Strong presentation skills, comfortable with video meetings/conferences
Excellent analytical and operational thinking; able to use data, workflows, and tooling to inform strategy, improve efficiency, and solve problems.
Effective communicator, both written and verbal; with the ability to simplify complex concepts for customers and team members
Deep understanding of customer lifecycle, and ability to identify risk signals, and value drivers
Demonstrated track record of exceeding goals
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite) with the ability to quickly learn new software
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is a plus.
Passion and aptitude for working in a fast-paced and fast-growing environment
Comfortable with remote management

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.

We reward our Sales positions with competitive pay. For this role, we offer uncapped commission with a base salary range as outlined below.
Illinois: $93,000- $116,000 ($116,000 - $145,000 OTE range)
Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
