About the role
The Multi-Site HR Manager is responsible for overseeing the full range of human resources functions across multiple facility locations. This role serves as a strategic partner to site leadership, ensuring HR policies and programs are consistently applied while supporting team member engagement, compliance, and business performance.
In this role, you will support the Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, in driving HR initiatives. This role is focused on partnering with both salaried leadership and supporting hourly team members to ensure effective HR management, compliance, and employee engagement. You will assist with a strong focus on supporting operational efficiency and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Provide day-to-day HR support to restaurant managers and team members, addressing HR-related queries and concerns.
Assist in resolving employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
Partner with the Senior Manager to address HR challenges unique to the QSR industry, focusing on both salaried and hourly workforce dynamics.
Partner with Site Managers, Operations Leaders, and Senior HR to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
Provide guidance on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design to support long-term business growth.
Develop and implement HR strategies that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Oversee recruiting and selection processes across multiple sites to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to manage requisitions, interviews, and hiring decisions.
Ensure a consistent onboarding process, including orientation, training, and new team member integration across sites.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Promote a positive work culture by supporting initiatives that drive high employee morale and engagement across diverse teams.
Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts.
Provide coaching to managers on performance management, progressive discipline, and policy adherence.
Lead initiatives that enhance engagement, retention, and recognition across multiple locations.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across all assigned sites.
Oversee I-9 collection, reverifications, and recordkeeping for all team members.
Support Worker’s Compensation, safety investigations, and leave of absence administration.
Maintain consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices across sites.
Training & Development
Coordinate leadership training, HR policy education, and compliance programs across sites.
Partner with site leadership to identify training needs and create development plans for managers and team members.
Track and report training completion, compliance certifications, and development metrics.
HR Operations
Provide coaching and oversight to ensure accuracy in scheduling, payroll processing, and team member recordkeeping.
Monitor time and attendance, leave management, and payroll accuracy across locations.
Generate HR reports (turnover, headcount, engagement metrics) to provide insights to leadership.
Support implementation of new HR systems and processes (e.g., Workday).
The experience you have
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience managing HR functions across multiple locations.
Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to the QSR industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity and change
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual is preferred
Experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or multi-unit operations.
Experience with HR systems such as Workday.
Demonstrated success in driving engagement, reducing turnover, and building leadership capability across multiple sites.

Ability to balance strategic HR leadership with tactical, hands-on HR support.
Flexibility to travel between locations based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position requires regular travel between assigned locations to provide on-site HR support and leadership visibility between Cranford, Englewood, Fairfield and Newark.
Base Salary: $121,500 - $135,500 per year.
Wonder Group uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.
