About the role
Wonder is on the hunt of a multi-faceted creative director to bring our brand to life via interior and architectural design in our restaurants, workspaces, and events. Reporting to our VP of Creative, you will partner with closely with fellow creative leads across brand and marketing design, copywriting, and photography. This is a highly cross-functional role, which will require strong communications and collaboration skills with leaders across Events/PR, Store Operations, Real Estate, Culinary, and Growth Marketing teams.
Specific responsibilities include:
Lead translation of our brand identity into restaurant layout design, fabrication, and finishes.
Develop scalable design systems by restaurant type to enable fast, efficient physical builds.
Inform signage needs and seasonal expression via partnership with brand marketing creative.
Strengthen partnerships with external vendors for fixture and furnishing design.
Drive creative output for special events, like store openings, partnership activations, and interactive sponsorships.
The experience you have
10+ years of experience as a hands-on creative leader, outputting work and managing internal and external resources.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
A background in architectural design, commercial interior design, or large scale event design is required.
An arsenal of agency partners and vendors at the ready to support your ability to make quick progress against goals.
Base Salary
$187,000
