About the role

We’re looking for a Production Manager to join our Culinary Production Team in Cranford, NJ. This third shift (overnight) role for our cold production line. The ideal person is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, production-focused kitchen and is excited to support a high-volume, innovative food operation behind the scenes. You’ll lead a team of cooks and prep staff, ensuring top-notch execution, food safety, and consistency across multiple restaurant concepts.

The experience you have:

  • 3+ years of supervisory or 2+ years of Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, high-standard culinary production or commissary kitchen

  • AOS Culinary School graduate or equivalent culinary training

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under time constraints

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Skilled in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems for culinary, kitchen, and logistics staff

  • Effective at training, developing, and motivating teams, while building strong morale

  • Able to hold teams accountable to Wonder’s standards and procedures

  • Strong leadership and delegation skills

  • Proven ability to manage budgets related to labor, food, and direct operating costs

  • Experience creating weekly labor schedules that align with staffing needs and budget guidelines using forecasting tools

  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel to production kitchens throughout NJ as needed

Base Salary: $71,000
