About the role
We’re looking for a Yield Manager to lead auction-focused pricing strategy, bid optimization, and revenue growth for our growing CTV ad business. Reporting to the GM, Streaming & Direct-to-Consumer, you’ll create and execute aggressive yield strategies that increase RPM by optimizing floor prices, SSP and supply configurations, and the balance between direct and programmatic demand. This is a high-impact, data-driven role that works closely with Ad Tech, Finance, and Demand Partners to maximize revenue while maintaining fill and auction efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Yield Optimization & Pricing Strategy
Own floor pricing strategy, bid density optimization, and auction mechanics to maximize revenue per impression.
Develop and implement dynamic pricing models, adjusting CPM floors based on real-time market demand, seasonality, and performance insights.
Continuously test SSP configurations, bid throttling, and demand prioritization strategies to improve revenue outcomes.
Work closely with the Head of Programmatic & Revenue Partnerships to align yield tactics with broader demand acquisition efforts.
Programmatic Auction & Inventory Optimization
Analyze bidstream data, win rates, and price clearing trends to refine auction strategies.
Optimize CTV ad podding, competitive separation, and frequency capping to balance monetization and user experience.
Work with the Ad Tech team to fine-tune prebid settings, ad waterfall configurations, and demand partner integrations.
Monitor fill rates and demand partner performance, adjusting strategies based on real-time bid dynamics.
Data-Driven Testing & Revenue Growth
Run continuous A/B testing on floor prices, auction mechanics, and demand partner optimizations.
Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to increase yield across programmatic direct, PMP, and open exchange deals.
Track key monetization metrics (CPM, fill rate, bid density, revenue per available impression, etc.), identifying areas for improvement.
Leverage real-time analytics tools and dashboards to make informed decisions about pricing and inventory allocation
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Demand Management
Partner closely with Revenue Operations and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of yield performance.
Work with the Ad Tech team to resolve latency, discrepancy, and ad delivery issues that impact yield.
Collaborate with the Head of Programmatic & Revenue Partnerships to provide pricing insights and demand partner recommendations.
Ensure compliance with brand safety, ad quality, and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, etc.) while optimizing yield.
The experience you have
Bachelor’s degree required
3-6 years of experience in ad yield management, programmatic revenue optimization, or ad operations—ideally in CTV, digital video, or programmatic advertising.
Deep understanding of CTV auction dynamics, bid density optimization, and demand-side pricing strategies.
Experience managing SSP relationships, analyzing bidstream data, and optimizing floor pricing models.
Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
Familiarity with ad servers (Springserve, Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, Nexxen, Publica) and SSP platforms.
Knowledge of CTV-specific ad delivery challenges, including podding logic, frequency capping, and competitive separation.
Comfortable running A/B pricing tests and interpreting auction analytics to drive incremental revenue growth.
Ability to balance fill rates, revenue goals, and demand partner relationships in a fast-moving, data-driven environment with a bias for action.
Base Salary:
$157,976.00
