Warby Parker is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our Consumer Insights & Research team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product managers, analysts, designers, and other researchers to share insights and create actionable steps that shape the future of Warby Parker’s customer experience on our website, mobile apps, and other digital products. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Insights & Research, you’ll use your understanding of various research methods to lead UX Research, establishing best-in-class functions across platforms. What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the Digital Product and Experience Design teams to proactively identify research topics and customer pain points
  • Design and execute end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods, including usability tests, surveys, interviews, and diary studies
  • Conduct research and influence decision making throughout the product development lifecycle (from generative/discovery through to evaluative/tactical research)
  • Influence the ecommerce roadmap and UX designs through a strong understanding of Warby Parker’s customer experience and through effective communication and partnership
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Insights & Research team to ensure we’re taking a holistic approach to customer and market research

Who you are:

  • Backed by 7+ years of user research experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A thorough, practiced researcher with a solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and the ability to identify the key insights that can help drive a project forward
  • A supportive and influential business partner who’s able to design analyses for a variety of problems and translate insights into strategic recommendations
  • A clear and impactful communicator and presenter
  • An optimistic and highly organized self-starter with excellent prioritization skills and the ability to be flexible with shifting priorities
  • A natural collaborator who is excited to work cross-functionally and share knowledge about your subject matter

Extra credit:

Warby Parker, in good faith, believes that the posted salary range is accurate for this role in New York at the time of posting. Warby Parker may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible to receive a cash bonus and an equity bonus as part of the total compensation package.
