Job Summary:

The Vice President of Finance creates shareholder value by identifying opportunities and leading initiatives that improve profitability, while proactively supporting the CFO through descriptive and predictive analytics and presentations with actionable recommendations. The position serves as the primary owner of internal data — including the Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, long-term forecasts, and daily reports — leading the analysis, preparation, and presentation of key business drivers and financial results. In addition, the Vice President of Finance leads treasury and capital market functions and operations, ensuring uninterrupted funding for dealership contract purchases.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide frameworks, models, and business cases that maximize shareholder value

  • FP&A seasoned expert with ability to create and implement best-in-class policies and procedures

  • Continually back-test projections, models and forecasts to improve accuracy and minimize variances

  • Translate complex operational and financial matters into clear and concise messages

  • Complete special and ad-hoc projects as needed

  • Perform data reconciliation, such as variance analysis, based on the key levers (KPIs) of the business

  • Assist Investor Relations and Accounting as needed during quarterly Earnings process

  • Secure and optimize warehouse lines of credit, manage asset-backed securitizations

  • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations to ensure compliance with liquidity covenants, servicing agreements and collateral controls for contracts

  • Leverage capabilities of team and other functions to drive operational efficiency across the finance function

  • Provide support to the organization in all audits, reviews, data requests

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 10+ years of FP&A/treasury experience, preferably at finance companies

  • Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of sensitive and material non-public information

  • Advanced working knowledge of financial concepts and building financial models

  • Experience structuring, executing, and managing ABS transactions or similar asset-backed lending facilities

  • Proven ability to negotiate and maintain warehouse lines of credit with commercial banks, including managing strict covenant compliance and concentration limits

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and project management skills

  • Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Superior Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • High sense of urgency and ownership ensuring that all deliverables are completed on-time and within budget

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required

  • Preferred Education: Master’s degree preferred

  • Preferred Field of Study: Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • Years of Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Certifications: None required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is primarily sedentary in nature. The role requires extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically six to eight hours per day.

Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. The employee must be able to lift light objects, generally up to 10–25 pounds, such as files, boxes, office supplies, or similar items.

This position requires repetitive motions associated with keyboard and mouse use, as well as visual acuity sufficient to read documents and computer screens.
