What You’ll Do
Overview
We’re looking to hire a Director/Senior Director, Proposals and Contracts with a genuine passion for clinical research and working in a dynamic environment for a high growth organization. This role will be a key contributor to the evolution of Vial’s business development group, and will hold the responsibilities associated with managing a team of Proposals and Contracts Associates to ensure timely and accurate responses to sponsor RFPs, development of high quality proposals, contracts, and process improvement initiatives within the business development process.
This role is fully remote, based anywhere in Canada with a preference for Pacific Time Zone. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide employee sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end proposal development process being performed by your team, in collaboration with cross functional leadership, to ensure on time delivery of high quality proposals.
- Suggests and implements pricing and proposal strategies to improve quality of proposal based on experience in similar situations or RFPs/Change Orders.
- Schedule and participate in strategy calls and budget review calls in accordance with submission timelines.
- Coordinate budget and contract revisions internally, with vendors and with Sponsors, as needed.
- Evaluates and monitors contracts for completeness, accuracy, compliance and implementation to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards- Performs quality control reviews on documents (proposals, contracts, etc.).
- Maintains budget/contract templates, accurate files and databases.
Who Are You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or life science or equivalent defined as a minimum of 4+ years related, combined experience in employment, education, knowledge, and skills that will enable the incumbent to competently perform the duties of the role.
- Minimum 4 years in proposal development preferably in CRO managing vendor/client contract relations.
- Finance background in the healthcare industry and global experience strongly preferred
