As an Associate HRBP your role will be to work alongside the Management team within North Asia (China/HK/Taiwan/Japan/Korea) to provide HRBP support to the business as it rapidly expands and grows. You will be a hands on HRBP who thrives in an environment that requires flexibility, adaptability and a ‘can-do’ approach. Working alongside HR COEs, you will be responsible for the management and administration of employees through the employee life cycle.
You will partner with HR COEs to develop and improve HR processes as well as manage employee relations issues.
As the Associate HRBP you will:
Partner with region HRBP/HR Shared Services to provide employees on all employee related matters in the North Asia (China/HK/Taiwan/Japan/Korea)
Provide support in various HR-related topics such as HR Programs/Benefits Administration/HR Policies
Develop and maintain local HR policies & procedures for the site
Organizing Manager / Employee session
Partner with HR Shared Services to develop and improve HR processes as well as manage employee relations issues
Ensure that Cloudera North Asia (China/HK/Taiwan/Japan/Korea) is compliant with local legislation
Participate in APAC/Global wide HR initiatives as appropriate
We’re excited about you if you have:
Fluent Mandarin & English speaker with previous HR experience working within North Asia (China/HK/Taiwan/Japan/Korea)
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years’ experience as a Generalist / Associate HRBP
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a multinational company
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of China employment law is an advantage
Experience in start-up/developing environment would be a distinct advantage
Strong experience supporting Sales / Support employee base
Adaptable, flexible approach to problem solving with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Proven ability to perform in a matrixed environment
Experience working for a technology focused organization preferred
