Cloudera is looking for a Regional Vice President, Benelux to be responsible for leading a team of individual contributors. Responsible for setting team objectives, coaching, providing feedback, working with them through issues and assisting them in navigating through their job functions and deliverables. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organisational objectives. Is a motivated leader who can grow and develop a team. Can manage performance issues to a successful conclusion. Work within and outside of departments to execute on company objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of individual contributors

  • Able to take department objectives and break those down to employee specific activities and deliverables

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.

  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions..

  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.

  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.

  • Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

  • Needs to be a high-energy, motivated and team player

Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of sales experience selling enterprise software

  • 5-8 years managing Sales

  • Success in small fast growing environments (i.e. Resource constrained)

  • Proven ability to motivate team members

  • Experience in growing and developing teams

  • Consistent achievement with a background in exceeding quota

  • Knowledge in selling complex products

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
