About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.

We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.

Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.

To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.

About the Role

We're looking for a Principal People Business Partner to join our People team and serve as the strategic people leader for our Ground Operations function across the Northeast and Southeast regions. In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor and thought partner to Ground Ops leadership, driving complex talent initiatives and building a world-class people strategy that scales with our growth. You'll mentor our PBP team, own strategic programs and projects, and serve as the bridge between Ground Ops' operational needs and our broader People strategy. This is a foundational role for someone who has deep expertise in hourly operations, high-growth scaling, and building strong teams in fast-paced, warehouse-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic people partner to Ground Ops leadership across the Northeast and Southeast regions, advising on talent strategy, organizational design, and people-driven business decisions

  • Develop and execute talent management strategies tailored to Ground Ops, including workforce planning, succession planning, and capability building to support regional and company-wide growth

  • Own strategic initiatives including manager development programs, warehouse culture and engagement strategies, retention and high-growth scaling efforts

  • Lead complex employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, and investigations requiring independent judgment and strategic thinking

  • Mentor the People Business Partner team, providing guidance, coaching, and support on client relationships, and complex HR matters

  • Identify trends and patterns in Ground Ops data and metrics, translating them into actionable recommendations and solutions

  • Partner with talent acquisition to shape hiring strategies and leveling architectures that support Ground Ops' needs and align with company leveling frameworks

  • Lead organizational design and restructuring projects that support operational efficiency and team effectiveness

  • Develop and champion compensation and benefits strategies specific to hourly and non-exempt populations

  • Participate in company-wide people initiatives and cross-functional projects, ensuring Ground Ops' voice is heard and represented

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior Ground Ops leaders, warehouse managers, and operational teams across regions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or related field

  • 10-12 years of progressive HR, people operations, or organizational development experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing talent, performance, and people strategy in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or similar operational environments

  • Proven track record leading strategic people initiatives and driving business impact through human capital strategies

  • Deep understanding of hourly and non-exempt workforce challenges, including retention, engagement, scaling, and operational culture

  • Strong experience in high-growth or rapidly scaling companies

  • Excellent strategic thinking and independent judgment in complex, ambiguous situations

  • Ability to think systems-wide and connect people strategy to operational and business outcomes

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence and persuade across levels

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities

  • Ability to mentor and develop others, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and HRIS systems

  • Comfort managing competing priorities and working effectively across multiple regions and time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or similar operational industries

  • Background in high-growth, scaling companies or startup environments

  • Experience with organizational design, restructuring, or large-scale transformations

  • Exposure to or experience with driver or gig economy workforce models

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law, particularly as it applies to hourly and non-exempt populations

Travel

Up to 30% travel required to warehouse locations and company offsites across the Northeast and Southeast regions as needed.

Location: Philadelphia, PA or Flowery Branch, GA (warehouse-based)
