ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer to design and build the internal tooling and infrastructure that enables everyone at Veho—technical and non-technical alike—to create, deploy, and manage AI-powered apps and agents. Think of it as building the "builder experience": the walled garden, the guardrails, and the platform that lets an ops manager or a CX lead ship a working agent without writing code. This role reports directly to our Co-founder/President and sits at the center of Veho’s AI transformation.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
  • Builder Experience Platform – Design and ship the platform that lets non-engineers build and deploy governed AI agents and internal apps quickly and safely.
  • Agent Infrastructure – Create the secure infrastructure layer that supports agentic workflows: context management, memory, tool access, quality controls, and test suites.
  • Cross-System Integrations – Build connectors and integrations (NetSuite, Salesforce, internal systems) so that agents and apps can operate across the business.
  • Quality & Governance – Implement monitoring, fallback logic, documentation, and guardrails so AI systems are reliable, trustworthy, and auditable.
  • Adoption & Impact – Partner with leaders across Transportation, CX, Ops, and Marketing to identify high-leverage automation opportunities, then ship systems teams actually adopt.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 4+ years building and shipping production systems, automation, or internal developer/builder tools
  • Deep experience with LLM-powered workflows, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks (Claude, OpenAI, open-source ecosystems)
  • Ability to build with and for AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Veho Build, etc.)
  • Strong product instincts—you connect technical work to measurable business outcomes
  • Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments without detailed specs; bias toward shipping and iterating
  • Experience designing platforms or tools used by non-technical end users
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
  • Background in logistics, transportation, or marketplace platforms
  • Experience building secure agent infrastructure (sandboxing, access controls, context/memory management)
  • Familiarity with open agent ecosystems (e.g., OpenClaw or similar frameworks)
  • Track record at early-stage or high-growth startups navigating rapid organizational change
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Veho’s leadership has committed to a future where every team runs agentic workflows and every employee can build their own tools. You won’t be experimenting on the side—you’ll be building the foundational product that makes that future real. There’s no playbook yet. You’ll help write it.
Compensation: $220,000 - $265,000
The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and generous PTO for full-time roles.
Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. No matter the location, or the role, every Veho teammate shares one galvanizing mission: driving commerce forward with a customer-centric delivery and returns experience that’s built for the modern era. We are deeply value-driven (Team Up, Drive Impact, Take Ownership, Solve Bigger, Obsess Over Experience, Make Today Count) and care tremendously about investing in our high-performers.
Join us in building the future of ecommerce logistics and in doing the work of our lifetime!
