About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you’ll be embedded in a team called Decision Intelligence that is responsible for empowering better and more data-informed decisions across all Operations teams at Veho. We directly partner with a wide variety of teams that sit within the Operations organization – including Supply Chain, Live Operations, Marketplace, Expansion, and more – to drive more nuanced thinking, reporting, and experimentation. And because of the unique nature of this team and role, we also often work with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Finance to prioritize our roadmaps, understand relevant internal product launches, and collaborate more generally.
The “full stack” nature of this role refers to the broad data-oriented projects that our team leads and/or supports. Our work spans analytics engineering, business intelligence, low-tech tool building, and applied data science. To influence and lead projects across those domains, we often work across a suite of tools (DBT, Fivetran, Metabase, Hex) and programming languages (most notably SQL and Python). If you’re excited to apply data-focused principles, tools, and practices to drive business impact then this role is likely a great fit!
Responsibilities include:
  • Gathering cross-functional requirements (for tools, dashboards, data science products, and more)
  • Ensuring data quality/integrity through the application of analytics engineering best practices
  • Building reliable, efficient, and accurate dashboards to inform operational decision-making
  • Building code-driven tools to improve existing processes across partnering operations teams
  • Analyzing and evaluating the business impact of tests & experiments
What You Bring:
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments (we are a start-up!)
  • Comfortable with written and oral communication in English
  • Very strong SQL and dashboarding skills
  • Experience with analytical relational databases such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Experience using ETL/ELT tools to build and maintain data pipelines and underlying data models
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (eg, Metabase, Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, Mode, Hex, Looker)
  • Experience with open source languages used for large-scale data analytics (eg, Python, Spark, R)
