What You’ll Do:
- Manage Maintenance Requests: Oversee the intake and processing of maintenance requests, ensuring they are assigned, tracked, and resolved according to company policies.
- Coordinate Preventative Maintenance: Utilize the ticketing system to schedule and monitor preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure Quick Resolution: Prioritize and facilitate the quick resolution of maintenance issues, coordinating resources and personnel to address problems efficiently.
- Escalate as Necessary: Identify and escalate any requests that exceed predefined thresholds, ensuring that critical issues receive the appropriate level of attention.
- Optimize Processes: Continuously review and refine maintenance processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Close Out Issues: Ensure that all maintenance tasks are properly documented, closed out, and reported, maintaining a high level of accountability.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years in a facilities maintenance coordination role or similar position, with experience managing maintenance schedules and requests.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using maintenance management and ticketing systems.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in facilities management or maintenance (e.g., FMP, CFM).
- Process Improvement: Experience in developing and implementing process improvements for maintenance operations.
- Cost Management: Experience in managing budgets and optimizing maintenance costs.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in facilities maintenance.
