Valinor Harbor is seeking a hands-on, experienced Construction Superintendent. This role is responsible for managing construction and fabrication from pre-mobilization through final completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to quality standards.
What you will do
- Plan and coordinate all on and off site construction operations including subcontractor scheduling, material logistics, and daily tasks
- Maintain construction schedule and budget; identify potential delays or issues early and recommend corrective actions
- Enforce safety protocols; lead safety meetings; ensure compliance with all regulations
- Inspect work for quality and adherence to design specifications, coordinate with architects or engineers for clarifications
- Manage change orders and field modifications in cooperation with Harbor team
- Foster communication with subcontractors, clients, and internal team to maintain transparency and project alignment
- Ensure that all documentation (daily logs, safety reports, inspection records, etc.) is kept up to date
What we're looking for
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as Superintendent, preferably in commercial / industrial construction
- Strong leadership skills; capable of managing large teams onsite
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), permits, inspections
- Clean driver’s license; ability to move between job sites as needed, CDL preferred
- Preferred areas of expertise: modifications of conex boxes, insulation, framing, electrical, HVAC, finishing, welding
