The Impact You'll Make:
The Retailer Growth team is looking for an experienced UX Website Principal to oversee the "Business" sections of the website. In this role reporting to the Head of Digital, you will partner with our consumer, brand, content marketing, product marketing, and product teams to ensure that the website reflects Upside's' brand. You have experience in SEO, content management, UX best practices, to increase conversion, organic traffic and overall website visibility.
Plan and implement web-based marketing strategies and campaigns via our website(s)
Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain website aesthetics, functionality, and user interface
Draft, implements, maintains, and revises online marketing campaigns to increase sales and revenue
Coordinate with other marketing team members to ensure active campaigns are represented on the website(s)
Collaborate with our SEO agency and content team to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results for our site(s) to improve organic traffic and website visibility
Maintain current knowledge of trends, best practices, and new developments in online B2B marketing technologies
Create and update website content including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Track website performance metrics like traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.
Analyze user feedback and implement changes to improve website navigation and usability.
Develop A/B testing strategies to understand what type of content, visuals, and images perform best for conversion
What You Should Have:
Proficient with HTML, CSS and web design
Project management experience
Knowledge of UX, web content strategy & governance
Understanding of SEO, especially technical best practices
Conversion rate optimization and A/B testing experience
Proficiency in Webflow, Wordpress, and Hubspot
Experience creating requirements documentation
Ability to analyze and synthesize data to provide recommendations
Experience with GA4, Looker, and other reporting tools
Familiarity with WCAG/Digital Accessibility practices
Experience overseeing user experience, including site navigation/IA, page templates, search, customer journey
7+ years of related experience
Location:
This is a hybrid role based in either our Chicago, DC, or NYC office. To start, in-office attendance is required twice a week, and it may increase based on project-based needs and/or changes in Upside's in-office policy.
Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 - $185,000 + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
