Meet the Growth Marketing Team:

Our team is made up of innovative individuals passionate about growing the user base across fuel, restaurant, and grocery, and nurturing our existing customers. With a heavy emphasis on data and experimentation, we test performance across various channels, including radio, digital, and outstanding referral programs, which builds space for creativity and diverse ideas. Our team also owns the app user experience, crafting tens of millions of engaging and relevant emails, push notifications, and in-app messages each month to drive app usage. Our Marketing team is highly cross-functional in our effort to serve over 5M users and touch millions more through our marketing channels.

About the Job:

Upside is in search of a Growth Marketing Manager to scale up user acquisition efforts so that we efficiently hit our growth goals. In this role, you will build and manage acquisition strategy across our current and future affiliate channel partnerships. You will manage our growing network of publishers, affiliates, and influencers, and work across multiple teams to increase user conversion rate. What you’ll do:

  • Monitor, grow, and accelerate user acquisition for all biddable platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap, Twitter, Reddit, & ASA), affiliate channels, and future partnerships, inclusive of growth, granular reporting, and the onboarding of new platforms
  • Manage Upside’s relationships with partner sites/networks, including growing its network of affiliates, monitoring performance, handling affiliate questions or concerns, and affiliate prospecting.
  • Use a detailed, metrics-focused, and experimentation-led approach to draw insight from sophisticated marketing data that advises strategy and decision-making
  • Understand user value by channel and further spend optimization based on LTV/IRR metrics
  • Collaborate with finance, product, engineering, creative, and analytics teams to develop experiments, complete projects, and productize the most successful tactics

What you need:

  • 3+ years of in-house marketing experience, preferably at a B2C company
  • Ability to own problems, generate solutions, and independently create and implement a strategy (with support from the broader team) in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong analytics experience with Looker, Mixpanel, or similar tools, with shown success in experimenting, A/B testing, and using data and analytics to get results
  • Proven track record of growing digital channels with successful strategies
  • A positive, resilient, and focused work approach
