The Role

TravelPerk is one of the most rapidly expanding SaaS start-ups and we are growing our presence even wider through Field Marketing. We are looking for a Senior Events Marketing Manager to shape and execute a field-based marketing strategy, driving both brand growth and demand generation in 2024 and beyond. You will collaborate closely with our revenue and marketing leaders, the sales development teams, and marketers to deliver compelling events and programs that align with the company’s goals.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with the company's brand objectives and growth targets. This includes defining the objectives for each event, considering factors such as audience profile, brand alignment, and potential for lead generation
  • Manage end-to-end event planning, including budgeting, logistics, vendor relationships, on-site execution, as well as KPIs
  • Drive the pre and post events management from promotion, attendance, to follow-up with lead-pipeline capture. Work closely with sales, revenue operations, marketing operations, and marketing on pre-event communications and event lead follow-up
  • Develop the event marketing team and provide mentorship.
  • Pioneer TravelPerk hosted events
  • Create engaging event content, presentations, and materials that effectively communicate our value proposition to attendees.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the ROI of each event, providing post-event analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to enhance the events strategy.

What you will need to succeed?

  • Proven experience in events marketing and strategy development, ideally in the B2B SaaS or tech industry.
  • Significant experience working cross collaboratively
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on event ROI.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required for event participation.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

We take an IRL - first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our Barcelona hub (office locations).
