About the role
We're in search of a seasoned and adept Senior Brand Copywriter to join our dynamic creative team. As a Senior Brand Copywriter, you will take center stage in our creative endeavors, serving as a guiding light for our new brand identity through your exceptional copywriting skills. Your role will involve not only crafting standout copy across multiple channels such as website copy, Google Adcopy, Product Marketing and CRM emails, but also mentoring and guiding others on this exciting branding journey. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from both in-house and agency settings, thriving in fast-paced environments, and showcasing a track record of end-to-end creative mastery. Your passion for nurturing collaboration and upholding design excellence will be your hallmark.

About you

  • You understand the difference between brand and branding, using this knowledge to empower creative writing solutions that resonate with our audiences across channels.
  • You understand working within the brief and within restrictions and contractions to come up with the best possible solution that makes a connection with our customers.
  • You’re able to ruthlessly prioritize to help drive business success.
  • You work seamlessly with marketeers to deliver solutions that are scalable and help drive performance.
  • You understand building creative writing systems and toolkits that allow others to understand and implement the creative across teams, channels and regions.
  • You understand all channels and formats you’re writing for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevating Brand Copywriting: Playing a pivotal role in raising the bar of writing across diverse projects, while effectively engaging stakeholders in this journey.
  • Brand Writing Guidance & Evolution: Formulating and executing best practices, guidelines, and standardized writing approaches for the creative team. Cultivating a culture of collaboration, responsibility, and ingenuity, while ensuring smooth cross-functional communication and knowledge exchange.
  • End to End Writing: Assisting in the development, testing, and integration of self-serve templates and tools. Empowering others to swiftly create content without sacrificing brand integrity or excessive design involvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product, and technology to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Foster positive relationships and clear communication channels to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to the creative design team. Facilitate skill development, and cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience (6+ years) in copywriting both long and short form , brand and creative writing
  • In-house and agency experience, B2B experience ideal
  • Strong understanding of writing tools and technologies and the creative production processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Previous leadership experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team.
  • Familiarity with the creative industry trends and emerging technologies is preferred.
  • Experience/knowledge with/of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch) is a plus.

How we work

Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk serves as the platform for human connection in-real-life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our London hub.
