You will also establish and enhance FP&A processes, leveraging automation and best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Through your leadership, you will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, helping Sonar achieve its strategic objectives and maintain its competitive edge.

What you will do daily:

  • Partner with leaders across multiple departments to understand business drivers, support strategic initiatives, and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver regular financial reports, investor updates, and board materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communicating results and business performance.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and proactively recommending corrective actions.
  • Drive automation and modernization of FP&A processes by implementing new tools, technologies, AI, and best practices to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with accounting and other cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and alignment on financial reporting.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed to inform business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and continuous improvement across the organization.

The experience you will need:

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance, or a related field, ideally within the software or technology sector.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining complex financial models, with advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and financial modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and implementing automation within FP&A or finance functions.
  • Experience preparing and presenting financial reports, investor materials, and board decks for executive and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with modern FP&A systems (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
