The Role

ThoughtSpot is looking for a Senior Manager, Content Strategy to lead our content function and help build the next generation of our content engine.

This is a player-coach role for a modern content leader who can set strategy, lead a lean team, and stay close to the work. You will lead the planning, creation, and execution of content that supports category leadership, demand creation, product storytelling, digital conversion, campaign performance, and ThoughtSpot’s broader market narrative.

We are looking for someone with a strong AI mindset. Not someone who occasionally uses AI to draft copy, but someone who understands how AI is changing the way content is researched, planned, created, personalized, optimized, distributed, and measured. This person should be curious, practical, experimental, and excited to build a content function that moves faster, learns faster, and gets smarter over time.

You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Digital, Communications, Field Marketing, and Marketing Operations to turn ThoughtSpot’s company narrative into content that is clear, differentiated, useful, and measurable.

This is not a traditional content role focused only on blogs, ebooks, and editorial calendars. It is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can connect company narrative, product positioning, campaign execution, digital journeys, AI-enabled workflows, and measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead ThoughtSpot’s content strategy across campaigns, product launches, thought leadership, web, demand programs, events, nurture, and digital experiences.

  • Build and manage a clear content roadmap tied to company priorities, audience needs, product strategy, campaign themes, and revenue goals.

  • Turn ThoughtSpot’s narrative around agentic AI analytics, embedded analytics, modern BI, and trusted business answers into content that is differentiated, useful, and easy for buyers to understand.

  • Develop content pillars, campaign narratives, buyer journeys, and digital content experiences that help ThoughtSpot show up as a leader in the future of AI-powered analytics.

  • Lead and develop a lean content team while staying close enough to the work to shape quality and outcomes.

  • Set clear priorities, ownership, and quality standards for the content function.

  • Raise the editorial bar across key assets by sharpening messaging, improving structure, and ensuring every piece of content has a clear audience, purpose, point of view, and next step.

  • Use AI across the content lifecycle, including audience research, messaging exploration, content briefs, outlines, repurposing, localization, personalization, SEO, GEO, testing, and performance analysis.

  • Build repeatable AI-enabled workflows that help the team move faster without sacrificing originality, accuracy, judgment, or brand voice.

  • Move the team beyond one-size-fits-all content by adapting core narratives by persona, industry, use case, funnel stage, region, and channel.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning, launches, messaging, and competitive differentiation into content buyers can understand and act on.

  • Partner with Integrated Marketing, Digital, Communications, and Field Marketing to support campaign themes, website journeys, events, regional activation, executive thought leadership, and major go-to-market moments.

  • Use performance data to understand what content is working, what should be improved, what should be retired, and where the team should invest next.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7 or more years of experience in B2B SaaS content strategy, content marketing, editorial strategy, product content, or integrated campaign content.

  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and messaging skills. You should be able to improve the work, not just review it.

  • Experience creating content for technical, data, AI, analytics, cloud, or enterprise software audiences.

  • Experience leading, managing, or mentoring content marketers, writers, agencies, or cross-functional contributors.

  • A strong AI mindset and demonstrated curiosity about how AI changes content strategy, content operations, search, personalization, distribution, and measurement.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve content planning, research, drafting, repurposing, optimization, testing, or performance insights.

  • Ability to translate complex technology into clear business value for executive, technical, and line-of-business audiences.

  • Strong understanding of the content journey, including awareness, demand creation, web conversion, campaign support, nurture, and digital performance.

  • Experience partnering with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Digital, Communications, Field Marketing, and Marketing Operations.

  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to protect quality, accuracy, brand voice, and differentiation.

  • Data-informed mindset with experience using content performance insights to optimize strategy.

  • Ability to prioritize competing needs and make smart tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment.
