We are seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Global Benefits Manager to lead the design, strategy, and execution of our global benefits programs. This role will manage benefits across a diverse and distributed workforce spanning the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and parts of Europe.

This is a high-impact role that combines strategic program design with hands-on operational excellence, requiring close collaboration with executive leadership (CFO, CHRO, CEO), external partners, and cross-functional internal teams.

What you'll do:

Global Benefits Strategy & Design

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global benefits strategy aligned with company goals, talent philosophy, and market competitiveness

  • Continuously benchmark programs across regions (US, India, UK, EU, APAC) to ensure relevance and effectiveness

  • Partner with executive leadership (CFO, CHRO, CEO) to shape long-term benefits vision and investment strategy

Benefits Operations & Administration

  • Oversee end-to-end benefits administration, with a strong focus on the US, UK & India

  • Provide governance and oversight for benefits programs

  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations including FMLA, LOA policies, pension requirements, and statutory benefits

  • Manage annual renewals, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison with brokers (including Sequoia), insurance carriers, and third-party administrators

  • Partner closely with Payroll, HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless program execution

  • Drive strong vendor performance management and service delivery standards

Program Management & Execution

  • Lead design and administration of core benefits programs including:

    • Health, Life, AD&D

    • Dental and Vision

    • Retirement programs (401(k), pensions)

    • Leave programs (FMLA, LOA, global equivalents)

  • Own benefits lifecycle processes: enrolment, communications, audits, and reporting

Analytics, Communication & Enablement

  • Leverage data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness, cost trends, and employee engagement

  • Create clear, compelling communication materials and executive presentations

  • Enhance employee experience through simplified and transparent benefits education

Digital Transformation & AI Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to automate and optimize benefits administration using digital tools and AI

  • Design or implement AI-driven solutions/agents to streamline processes such as query handling, enrolment support, and reporting

  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability across global benefits delivery

What you'll bring:

  • 12–15 years of experience in global benefits, total rewards, or related HR domain

  • Strong expertise in US benefits programs (health, life, 401(k), FMLA, LOA) and UK, India, and global benefits frameworks

  • Proven experience managing both strategy and hands-on operations

  • Demonstrated success working with brokers (e.g., Sequoia), insurers, and global vendors

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and operational rigor

  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (advanced Google Sheets)

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment

  • High ownership mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution

  • Experience in high-growth technology or global organizations

  • Exposure to benefits harmonization across regions

  • Hands-on experience building or deploying AI/automation solutions in HR or benefits administration

Hybrid Work at ThoughtSpot

This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in US - Phoenix.

Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and peer learning with the flexibility needed by individuals and teams.
