The Role
The Director of Salesforce Operations will own and lead ThoughtSpot’s global Salesforce ecosystem, driving operational excellence across Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Revenue, and Customer Success. This role is responsible for scaling Salesforce to support a fast-growing, complex, and global go-to-market organization while aligning platform strategy with corporate objectives.
This leader will manage a global team of Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Business Analysts, ensuring Salesforce is reliable, scalable, and optimized to support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and data integrity.
What You'll Do:
Salesforce Strategy & Leadership
Own the end-to-end Salesforce strategy, roadmap, and execution across the organization
Align Salesforce capabilities and priorities with company-wide goals and GTM strategy
Serve as the executive point of accountability for Salesforce performance, scalability, and adoption
Team & Global Operations
Lead and develop a global team of Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Administrators, and Business Analysts
Establish operating rhythms, best practices, and governance across regions and teams
Partner closely with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, Revenue, Customer Success, and IT
Platform Management & Optimization
Oversee Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, and integrations
Ensure high data quality, system reliability, and compliance with internal controls
Drive continuous improvement of quoting, forecasting, renewals, expansions, and reporting processes
Cross-Functional Partnership
Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue, and Executive Leadership
Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
Balance speed, quality, and technical debt in a fast-paced environment
Execution & Delivery
Prioritize and deliver Salesforce initiatives in a high-growth, dynamic environment
Establish clear intake, prioritization, and delivery processes
Manage vendor relationships and external Salesforce partners as needed
Analytics & Reporting
Ensure Salesforce reporting and dashboards provide accurate, actionable insights
Support executive-level visibility into pipeline, bookings, renewals, and expansion metrics
What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in Salesforce Operations, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations
5+ years of people management experience, including leading global teams
Deep expertise in Salesforce (Sales Cloud required; CPQ and integrations strongly preferred)
Proven success scaling Salesforce in a fast-paced, high-growth organization
Strong understanding of sales processes, deal structuring, renewals, and forecasting
Experience partnering with Finance and Revenue teams on data accuracy and controls
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketplace integrations, or subscription-based business models
Background in SaaS or cloud-based organizations
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, or Architect)

This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position.
Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in-office requirement of at least three days per week. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and peer learning with the flexibility needed by individuals and teams.
