What’s The Role:

ThoughtSpot is looking for a dynamic Country Manager to lead our Enterprise Sales business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). As the senior-most commercial leader in the region, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across key accounts, hiring and leading a high-performing team, developing strong customer and partner relationships, and ensuring alignment across marketing, customer success, pre-sales, and product. You’ll play a critical role in scaling ThoughtSpot’s presence in one of our fastest-growing markets.

This role requires an experienced enterprise software sales leader who can operate strategically at the C-suite level, while also driving day-to-day execution across a growing regional team. You’ll represent ThoughtSpot across the DACH region externally and internally, and be empowered to build a strong regional culture and GTM motion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, grow, and inspire a team of Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives focused on Enterprise customers across DACH.

  • Own and drive regional revenue targets, including pipeline generation, forecasting, and closing.

  • Act as the executive sponsor on top strategic deals, ensuring successful engagement with senior stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional customers, prospects, and partners.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Sales Operations, and Product to align regional priorities with global GTM strategy.

  • Drive pipeline generation initiatives, including tailored outbound programs, field marketing events, and ABM campaigns.

  • Oversee regional hiring, onboarding, and team development, building a strong, values-aligned culture.

  • Report weekly on pipeline health, forecast, team performance, and key trends across the region.

  • Represent the DACH market’s needs and feedback internally to influence product and strategy decisions.

  • Work closely with channel and alliance partners to scale regional reach and drive joint go-to-market activities.

  • Ensure operational rigor across the sales process, coaching team members on deal strategy and execution.

What You Bring:

  • 6–10+ years of sales leadership experience, including second-line management in the DACH region.

  • Deep experience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software sales; analytics or data platform experience is a strong plus.

  • Proven ability to scale and lead high-performing Enterprise sales teams across complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • A strong understanding of the DACH market dynamics, enterprise customer needs, and local business culture.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally and at the C-level.

  • Strong data-driven mindset – highly comfortable with forecasting, metrics, and operational excellence.

  • Fluency in German and English is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
