What's The Role:

ThoughtSpot is seeking a Senior Vice President of Americas to lead and integrate our regional go-to-market strategy and execution. This is a general management role with direct responsibility for Sales and regional accountability for the success of Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Field Marketing, Partner Ecosystem, and localized Product engagement—regardless of reporting structure.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this executive will bring deep analytics and data domain expertise, an outstanding ability to lead through collaboration and influence, and a clear track record of building and scaling performance-oriented, people-first organizations.

We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of execution and culture, and who can build long-term value through customers, teams, and partners alike. This leader will be a visible champion of ThoughtSpot’s values: Trust, Customer Obsession, Innovation, and Intensity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own Regional GTM Execution Across North America
Lead the development and execution of the regional strategy to meet revenue, retention, and customer success goals. Align and activate Sales, Field Marketing, CS, Solutions Engineering, Partners and local Product teams to drive outcomes with precision and urgency.

  • Act as a Regional GM – Beyond Sales Leadership
Be accountable for the performance of the full customer-facing experience. Create structure, clarity, and cohesion across teams—even when they don’t report to you. Serve as the regional glue across cross-functional execution.

  • Lead Partner-Centric Growth
Build and scale strategic partnerships with technology alliance partners (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS) and Regional System Integrators. Drive joint GTM initiatives, co-sell motions, and field alignment that materially impact pipeline and revenue.

  • Build and Scale a Domain-Centric Sales Org
Bring deep analytics and data platform expertise to guide customers, influence strategy, and enable your team. Help the field position complex solutions and navigate evolving AI and BI landscapes with authority.

  • Lead with Influence and Trust
Use data, storytelling, and cross-functional insight to inspire and align stakeholders across the organization. Cultivate executive relationships internally and externally that accelerate decision-making and momentum.

  • Instill a Culture of Pipeline Ownership
Drive a high-performing, proactive sales culture where every leader and rep owns pipeline creation. Lead GTM strategies that prioritize new logo acquisition, account expansion, and partner-influenced opportunities.

  • Deliver a Seamless, Value-Led Customer Journey
Collaborate deeply with Customer Success and Services to ensure smooth handoffs, fast time-to-value, and long-term success.

  • Build, Coach, and Scale Exceptional Talent
Hire and develop a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team across all segments. Invest in leadership development, succession planning, and internal mobility to build a durable, empowered organization.

What You Bring:

  • 15+ years of B2B SaaS leadership experience with a strong focus on GTM ownership—sales, partnerships, and cross-functional influence.

  • Domain expertise in analytics, data platforms, or business intelligence is required; you must be fluent in the space and able to guide teams and customers through market shifts and platform strategy.

  • Track record of building and executing successful partner strategies with technology ecosystems (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, etc.) and regional SI/channel partners.

  • Proven ability to lead in matrixed environments—aligning CS, SE, Marketing, and Product without needing direct control.

  • Deep commercial experience in pipeline strategy, forecasting, deal execution, and sales operations across segments.

  • Human-first leader with a strong ability to build trust, lead inclusively, and coach high-performing teams.

  • Strategic and execution-oriented—comfortable zooming from 30,000 feet to the front lines as needed.

  • Exceptional communicator with executive presence and strong analytical and storytelling capabilities.

How You’ll Embody ThoughtSpot’s Values:

  • Trust
Build and sustain trust with customers, partners, and colleagues through transparency, reliability, and authenticity.

  • Customer Obsession
Drive every action and decision around customer value and outcomes. Bring the voice of the customer into every room.

  • Innovation
Champion forward-thinking, challenge legacy approaches, and experiment with new GTM motions and partner models.

  • Intensity
Execute with speed, focus, and resilience. Set a high bar and inspire your teams to rise to it—together.
