We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Engineer to provide in-office technical support and manage onboarding and offboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Atlassian, Jira, Jamf, and AirWatch (VMware Workspace ONE) and will play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations for employees.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
In-Office IT Support
- Provide hands-on technical support for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in our Mountain View Office.
- Maintain and support Mac and Windows devices, ensuring proper setup and security configurations.
- Assist with conference room A/V setups, network connectivity, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Respond to IT support tickets in Jira Service Management, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Set up and configure laptops, user accounts, and IT resources for new hires.
- Conduct IT New Hire Onboarding sessions, ensuring employees understand tools, security policies, and best practices.
- Manage Offboarding procedures, including account deactivation, device collection, and data archiving.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory and ensure proper device lifecycle management.
Systems & Tools Management
- Administer and support Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Okta) for IT and engineering teams.
- Manage Mac devices through Jamf and Windows devices through AirWatch (VMware Workspace ONE).
- Assist with support and management of Google Workspace / Slack / Office365
- Assist with user access control, security policies, and identity management tools (Okta, Azure AD, etc.).
- Support IT automation initiatives to improve efficiency and user experience.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Mac and Windows.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
- Experience with user onboarding/offboarding and IT asset management.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with Linus is a plus
- Experience managing Mac devices with Jamf and Windows devices with AirWatch.
- Knowledge of enterprise security best practices and user access management.
- Basic scripting or automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) is a plus.
