Position Overview
We are looking for a customer-focused Salesforce Administrator to join our Salesforce Operations team. The ideal candidate for this role is going to learn about a salesforce organization and all of its functionality while also building relationships with their customers and cross-functional teams.
All candidates should have solid technical expertise in process automation (WFR, Process Builder, Flows), Salesforce best practices, data models, validation rules, spreadsheet analysis, and sound business acumen.
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
Own and triage incoming requests to a service desk application
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather approvals or redirect requests
Assist in defining, estimating, and shaping technical solutions for different projects and deliverables
Attend meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements
Troubleshoot and fix incidents related to Salesforce automation and validation rules
Translate business requirements into User Stories
Assist with 3rd party integration and application tasks
Qualifications (What You Have):
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
You enjoy learning about system functionality and identifying opportunities for improvement
An outstanding ability to build solid relationships
You are energized when new features and technologies become available and enjoy implementing changes to maximize system potential
2-4 years of experience with Salesforce configuration
Must have attention to detail, good written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of SOQL, DataLoader, and Workbench
Certification: Salesforce Advanced Administrator, a plus
Desired Experience:
Comfortable working in a support queue, triaging tickets and supporting project teams
Conducts Business Analysis and gathers requirements firsthand
Has completed large-scale/long-term projects from start to finish
Extensive experience with Flows
Has worked with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, & FinancialForce
Has installed managed packages into SFDC
Has conducted UAT and trained end-users
