Technical Program Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Technical Program Manager to support our Research & Development (R&D) team. This is an individual contributor role and will work closely with the leadership team to manage cross-functional technical projects, optimize operational processes, oversee the department's operating expenses (OpEx), and can provide financial and investment analysis.
The role requires strong deep knowledge of cloud computing, software development methodologies, financial acumen and excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
What You'll Do:
Project Management
Drive engineering programs and releases from idea to delivery to deployment
Shall be responsible for defining the program governance
Champion long-term, scalable processes that support the growing needs of our company
Drive the prioritization, scope, and schedule of product activities, working closely with architects and engineering leads
Experience in managing challenging stakeholders and provide regular executive reports on program performance to senior management
Go-to-person for all Project related information
Operational Expense (OpEx) Management
Collaborate with the R&D leadership team and finance department to develop and manage the annual OpEx budget, including headcount planning, tooling, and requisition management.
Track, forecast, and report on departmental expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary goals while enabling full-speed hiring and execution.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize operational efficiency.
Ensure budget operations are managed within the planned envelope while supporting ongoing business needs.
Collaboration with Leadership:
Serve as a key partner to the R&D leadership team by providing regular updates.
Support leadership in prioritizing R&D projects and aligning resources with strategic goals.
Prepare and share weekly status report and provide visibility to leadership
Cross-Functional Operations & Reviews:
Lead and conduct operational reviews, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
Host and facilitate critical cross-functional meetings to drive decision-making and ensure smooth execution of R&D projects.
Drive process improvements and share best practices across the organization.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s/Master degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or finance, preferably within an R&D or technology-driven environment.
Strong program management and leadership experience, with ability to influence at all levels.
Strong skills and tooling capability in financial analysis using Google Sheets, Excel, and other analytical software.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS business models, and software development methodologies and lifecycle.
Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and budget management tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with the ability to conduct operational reviews and host critical cross-functional meetings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience collaborating with finance teams to manage budgets and ensure operational success within financial constraints.
Familiarity with R&D processes and product development cycles.
Experience working in a fast-moving environment at a Cloud Software organization
Demonstrated ability to lead operational improvements and drive efficiency gains.
