We, at ThoughtSpot, are looking for a Member of Technical Staff(Frontend). Come join a team of world-class engineers building ThoughtSpot’s exploratory data analysis tool. We are looking for engineers with a proven track record of being industry visionaries to join the team responsible for building ThoughtSpot’s Visual Explorer.

You will work on designing and developing the next generation of visual analytics applications & experiences. We have a rapidly expanding list of happy customers who love our product and we're growing to serve even more.

What You'll Do:

  1. Develop robust and scalable web applications using Angular framework, following component-based architecture and design patterns.
  2. Lead the design and implementation of front-end features and components, emphasizing modularity and reusability.
  3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into responsive web pages, ensuring accessibility standards.
  4. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Angular best practices, including proper use of Dependency Injection (DI) and reactive programming with RxJS.
  5. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices for code organization and performance optimization.
  6. Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic, ensuring seamless communication and data flow.
  7. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development, particularly within the Angular ecosystem, and evaluate their applicability to projects.

What You'll Bring:

  1. 5+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular framework, with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  2. Strong understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and principles, including component-based architecture and reactive programming.
  3. Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  4. Proficiency in Angular CLI for project scaffolding, in using Angular Material for UI components.
  5. Prior experience of implementing internationalization and localization in Angular applications using appropriate tools (e.g. ngx-translate, i18n etc).
  6. Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx and familiarity with container/presentational component pattern.
  7. Strong understanding of setting up and utilizing tools such as webpack or Angular CLI for building, testing, and deploying applications, ensuring efficient development workflows and seamless deployment processes.
  8. Commitment to accessibility standards and best practices for ensuring inclusive and usable web applications.
