The Role

The Honest Company is seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to join our team! This temporary position is estimated to be needed through December 2025. As a Brand Manager on the Baby Operating Unit, you will partner with cross-functional teams across sales, creative and product development to bring brand innovation and campaigns to life! This role encompasses product, pricing, packaging, and promotions with oversight of the P&L to deliver our financial goals and targets. What you’ll do:

  • Provide broad support to the Baby team in a temporary capacity, assisting across day-to-day tasks, special projects, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth execution and team efficiency.
  • Run weekly POS (Point of Sale) reports and synthesize key metrics into a comprehensive tracker, providing actionable insights across all product categories.
  • Support the management of the PDP (Primary Display Panel) process by coordinating timelines, gathering product content and assets, and ensuring accurate and timely updates across retailer platforms.
  • Manage and maintain the departmental budget by tracking actuals against planned spend, ensuring accuracy in reporting, flagging variances, and supporting monthly forecasting and reconciliation processes to meet financial goals.
  • Identify cost improvements, portfolio mix optimization and SKU rationalization to improve gross margins based on category insights and partnership with sales, supply, demand, and sourcing.
  • Review and approve creative artwork to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives across various mediums.

  • Own the preparation and facilitation of gate meetings by gathering cross-functional input, consolidating materials into clear and concise pre-reads, and ensuring alignment across teams to drive informed decision-making.
  • Commercialize all product improvements, innovation, and updates by partnering with cross functional teams.
  • Partner with the sales team to support category and new item sell-in (e.g. sell decks, forecasts, key dates, product samples and support plans).

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of core marketing experience (e.g. execution of new product launches, providing creative direction, building brand campaigns) ideally in CPG with traditional retail distribution.
  • Proven analytical capabilities in interpreting data with actionable conclusions.
  • Ability to influence management, lead cross functional teams and handle simultaneous projects.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for a consumer-first mindset, culture, innovation, and trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $52.00- $65.00/hourly. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
