About the role

As a Site Engineer at Thatch, you'll serve in a uniquely cross-functional capacity, ensuring that our public site is both beautiful and functional. You'll work closely with our design and engineering teams to maintain and improve our website at, creating both a beautiful representation of our brand and a functional tool for our users. Your role is critical in speaking to our user base, helping to build our brand and educate our customers.

We're looking for a strong engineer with a great eye for design. You should be great at multitasking, detail-oriented, and have experience building and maintaining websites. You'll likely have strong experience working with React, TypeScript, CSS, Tailwind, and other modern web technologies.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and improve our public site, ensuring that it is performant and accessible.
  • Work closely with our design team to implement new designs and features on our public site.
  • Identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to enhance our public site.
  • Work with our marketing team to ensure that our public site is blazing fast, SEO-friendly, and accessible.

Background we're looking for

  • Experience building and maintaining websites using React, TypeScript, CSS, Tailwind, and other modern web technologies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with design and marketing teams.
  • Excellent written communication and project management skills.
  • A proactive, optimistic, growth-minded approach, complemented by the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving workplace.
