The Senior Account Manager - Health Systems role is focused on account success and growth by establishing productive, professional relationships with existing customers of Tendo's MDsave marketplace solutions, and driving strategic initiatives and financial growth targets. This includes identifying opportunities for new business within the healthcare customer, maintaining/expanding existing business, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and actively preventing customer attrition. The ideal candidate will be a driven and motivated sales professional who has proven experience building strong trust with customers and growing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the MDsave platform (a SaaS model) into our hospital partners with a strategic point of view towards long-term success and growth.
  • Develop partnerships with ancillary providers to identify and grow service lines and procedures.
  • Conduct reviews with our partners’ Leadership Teams (healthcare c-suite).
  • Develop new business from existing accounts.
  • Drive retention of accounts in the assigned book of business.
  • Negotiate and contract ancillary providers and services.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and thorough answers to customer inquiries using knowledge of the MDsave process to ensure customer retention.
  • Maintain accurate and timely account and opportunity information using Salesforce.com.
  • Analyze account data and provide insights to key stakeholders.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established quarterly and yearly goals.
  • Initiate processes and champion opportunities to consistently improve the customer experience, actively mitigating partner attrition.
  • Travel up to 25% or as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Engagement, Sales, or Business Development within enterprise/mid-market healthcare and technology.
  • Ability to utilize effective management, negotiation, and influencing skills to support and ensure a successful implementation of products and services.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Past experience working with executives and c-suite (hospital/healthcare).
  • Experience working in healthcare on the provider or payer side as a vendor or in the industry.
  • Base Salary Range
    $106,250-$143,750
    This salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on a number of factors including geography and experience. Tendo also offers an equity package, annual bonuses, and benefits. In addition to the base salary, this role provides a variable compensation package tied to sales achievements.
