Summary of Position
As a Provider Liaison Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our providers by facilitating the credentialing process, managing their schedules, monitoring the team mailbox, and assisting with data entry tasks related to physician billing and invoicing. The perfect candidate for this position will possess exceptional administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Credentialing:
Assist potential providers with the application process, providing guidance and support.
Perform credentialing verifications to validate qualifications and credentials.
Collaborate with the Provider Liaison Specialist and Recruiting Team to compile a shortlist of potential candidates based on specified criteria to the credentialing committee
Prepare and send contractual agreements to selected candidates.

Scheduling and Resource Management:
Assist with managing provider schedules, ensuring efficient scheduling processes and optimal utilization of provider resources.

Communication and Inbox Management:
Monitor and manage the team mailbox, promptly responding to inquiries and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.

Data Entry and Billing:
Conduct data entry tasks related to physician billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.

Reporting and Database Maintenance:
Generate reports and maintain departmental databases for tracking provider schedules, activities, and other relevant data.

Administrative Support:
Support the Clinical Liaison Department with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications Expected for Position
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration or related fields are a plus.
Proven + 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in using office software and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Experience with physician billing and invoicing processes is preferred.
Familiarity with healthcare provider credentialing and scheduling is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact professionally with healthcare providers and colleagues.
