Summary of Position
The Senior Clinical Manager, Inpatient Care Strategy, will identify, evaluate, and develop innovative new solutions and approaches that drive value for customers and generate sales for Teladoc Health for the Inpatient Solution space with a primary focus on solving workforce challenges impacting Hospitals and Health Systems. This position will conduct market and product research on clinical and technical solution needs, and support new product development, evaluations and launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The Senior Clinical Manager will also support the Solution Owner to develop business and market analyses, strategic and financial analyses, value propositions and ROI tools, and ad hoc reports and analyses that drive expansion of the Inpatient Solution set, program growth and scalability across the healthcare ecosystem and care continuum. This position will support internal and external customers to understand the solution, to complete voice of customers and other interviews and pilots to inform the business strategy.
The Senior Clinical Manager, Inpatient Care Strategy, will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Solution Strategy, and Operations to evaluate and assure the establishment of structures and processes to support the successful delivery of approved solutions and strategies.
This position requires excellent understanding of the healthcare industry, inpatient care, telehealth, emerging technologies, and market drivers. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, customer-centric, resourceful, and responsive working in a fast-paced and evolving digital health landscape for virtual care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in and support sales and marketing through clinical leadership to increase sales bookings.
- Conduct market and industry research and analysis regarding virtual nursing.
- Complete business case for on-going investments to support the virtualization of nursing at scale including technical solution requirements and clinical staffing options and recommendation.
- Complete analysis and create recommendations regarding TDOC Health creating and offering a virtual nursing and virtual sitting clinical service. If approved leads efforts to operationalize one or both clinical service offerings.
- Support the development, launch and growth of new inpatient solutions for clinical utilization.
- Support Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs to help drive product and solutions design, development and improvement – customer user groups, interviews, surveys, etc.
- Communicate with and align project stakeholders and customers.
- Strategic Analysis
- Assist with evaluating, developing, validating and launching new ideas, programs and clinical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with development of value propositions, ROI and business analyses for various use cases, and to support specific customer situations and needs.
- Assist with the development of business models for new inpatient clinical solutions and offerings.
- Collaborate with Business Analytics, SMEs, customers and others to create and refine value-added analytics reports and performance dashboards that result in actionable market and business insights across the care continuum and Solo platform for assigned business areas.
- Market Positioning & Go-to-Market Strategies
- Research and build out content for new virtual nursing and virtual sitting use cases, e.g., case studies, articles, briefings, white papers, etc.
- Help develop market competitive positioning strategies, and define the value proposition for new inpatient products and solutions
- Sales Enablement & Support
- Collaborate with SMEs, Marketing and Sales to develop content and tools for assigned use cases, products and solutions, such as case studies, articles, webinars, presentation decks (with Marketing), value propositions/ROI tools
- Collaborate with and support Sales in customer discussions for newly developed and enhanced Teladoc Health inpatient clinical solutions
- Establish and maintain customer relationships. Build trust and respect by consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Clinical Translation
- Work with technical teams to translate client needs and workflows into deliverable features and solutions by documenting client requirements
- Serve as SME on clinical workflows to ensure state, federal and regulatory practices are considered as team develop solutions to deploy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active RN License with 5+ years of experience
- Inpatient Clinical and Operational Expert
- Telehealth Experience
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and relevant workflows
- Experience with market analysis, business analytics, and financial modeling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Self-starter who can accomplish tasks without heavy supervision

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
