We are seeking a Junior Sourcing Associate to support procurement and sourcing processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to develop strategic sourcing capabilities while gaining exposure to supplier negotiations, category management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Junior Sourcing Associcate will be actively involved in operational and administrative purchasing tasks, supporting and contributing to process efficiency, supplier performance, cost optimization and compliance with company policies.

Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing

-Support the execution of sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals and cost optimization initiatives.

-Assist in supplier market research, benchmarking and supplier identification

-Support RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) including documentation preparation and supplier communications

-Contribute to spend analysis and category insights under senior sourcing guidance

Supplier Management

-Communicate with suppliers to request quotations, documentation, and provide basic follow-up support.

-Assist in tracking supplier performance metrics and supporting supplier review processes.

Maintain supplier master data and documentation in internal systems

Data & Reporting

-Maintain and update purchasing records, pricing information, contracts, and supplier data in internal systems, ensuring data quality

-Support preparation of reports on sourcing performance, saving tracking and supplier activity

Contract & Compliance Support

-Ensure proper documentation, filing, and compliance with purchasing procedures and policies

-Coordinate with Legal and compliance teams to ensure documentation completeness

-Support monitoring of contract milestones, renewals and obligations

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

-Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery

Support internal stakeholders with sourcing process guidance and purchasing coordination

Continuous improvement:

-Participate in sourcing process improvement initiatives

-Support implementation of sourcing tools, systems, templates and best practices

-Develop knowledge of Source to Pay and procure to Pay processes

Skill Requirements/Preferences:

-Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related fields

-1/3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (internships are acceptable).

-Strong analytical and data handling skills (Excel required)

-Basic knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier negotiation

-Proficiency in MS Office, PBI, ERP systems knowledge is a plus

-Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
