Summary of Position

Working with the Financial Systems team and internal partners, the Senior, Financial Systems Analyst will focus on building and maintaining financial reports for multiple finance and accounting teams using SmartView and Financial Reporting Studio. These reports will be leveraged throughout the entire EPM environment. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of report writing in Oracle SmartView, Financial Reporting Systems (FRS), Alteryx, and Tableau. The incumbent must possess strong technical aptitude, organizational skills, effective communication strategies and the ability to foster a collaborative environment that can deliver desired results in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interact effectively with internal resources at all organizational levels.

  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot reports based on requirements.

  • Understand and analyze legacy reports and work with business leads to convert to SmartView reports.

  • Support and resolve issues with existing SmartView reports.

  • Analyze reporting requirements to determine the most appropriate reporting tool (SmartView, Financial

  • Reporting Studio, Alteryx, Tableau).

  • Experience building reports presenting data from Oracle EPM technologies (Enterprise Planning & Budgeting

  • (EPBCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Financial Close and Consolidation (FCCS), and Enterprise Data

  • Management (EDMCS)).

  • Utilize strong report building experience to design and construct new reports.

  • Work with Finance team members and other business partners to fully understand report requirements to enhance and optimize deliverables.

  • Deep understanding of the metadata, dimensions, and their properties along with the interdimensional relationships.

  • Clear knowledge and understanding of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.

  • Understand reporting needs across the enterprise to build and execute on a reporting roadmap.

  • Designing, on an as-needed basis, various ad-hoc financials in support of on-going business requirements/objectives.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Graduate in Accounting/Finance

  • 5 years of experience in report writing

  • 3 years of working with Oracle cloud products

  • Advanced experience with Oracle EPM Reports (SmartView and Financial Reporting Systems)

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communicator able to matrix with executive management and business leads

  • Must be able to work independently

Qualifications Preferred

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Functional experience with Alteryx, Essbase, and Tableau
