We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Support Student to join our Toronto office-based team. This role supports initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving workflows, and enabling digital solutions. The Operations Support Student will work closely with cross-functional teams to support SharePoint management, document formatting, administrative tasks, and technology-driven process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain SharePoint pages for team resources and communications.
Format SOPs, job aids, and training materials to meet compliance and branding standards.
Develop Microsoft Forms for data collection, feedback, and process tracking.
Build and maintain automation flows using Microsoft Power Automate.
Create workflow diagrams and visuals using Visio, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
Organize and update operational documents for easy access and version control.
Provide general administrative assistance, including mail scanning, scheduling, data entry, and file organization.
Assist in mapping and analyzing current workflows to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
Support the development and refinement of operational processes and tools.
Collaborate with nurses, clerks, and physicians to gather feedback and support communication around new workflows.
Support cross-functional teams with any other ad hoc operational tasks, as required.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Health Administration, Business, Information Technology, or related field).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Forms is an asset.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
Healthcare background or interest is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
