Position Summary
The Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst will be a key member of the AP team, responsible for a broad range of duties including invoice management, payment processing, account reconciliation, vendor communication, compliance, and process improvement. In this role, you’ll ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time, provide critical support for month-end close activities, and help manage corporate card programs to keep operations running smoothly.
The successful candidate will be a respected individual contributor that internal and external business partners can rely upon. Teladoc has grown rapidly over the past few years, so the candidate must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and thrive under changing priorities.
Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities
Maintain accurate vendor and payment records in compliance with SOX and company policies.
Verify tax documentation (e.g., W-9) and support 1099 reporting requirements.
Assist with administration of corporate card programs (P-card and T&E), ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Support fraud prevention measures and confirm banking details for payment security.
Participate in initiatives to transition vendors to electronic payment methods.
Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement best practices.
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
Process invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and authorization.
Qualifications expected for the role
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Qualifications preferred for the role
Knowledge of Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud (Cloud preferred)
Experience with Concur and Purchasing Card programs.
