The Opportunity

Teamworks Hub sits at the center of our product ecosystem, serving as the platform that powers more than 6,500 sports organizations and supports expansion into high performance tactical environments. As a Software Engineer II on Hub, you will contribute to building and enhancing the core capabilities that other Teamworks products rely on every day.

You will support a high impact initiative serving elite athletic and tactical units across mental, spiritual, nutritional, performance, and operational areas. Your work will focus on developing and improving platform features that connect products and support a broad user base.

If you are motivated by building scalable full stack systems, strengthening your system design skills, and growing your impact within a mission critical platform, this role offers meaningful ownership and development.

This position reports to a Senior Director, Engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Build and deliver full stack features across React, TypeScript, and Python

  • Contribute to scalable platform capabilities that integrate multiple Teamworks products

  • Collaborate on technical designs and translate requirements into reliable implementations

  • Incorporate customer feedback into product improvements

  • Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability across the Hub platform

  • Contribute to API development and integrations using REST and GraphQL

  • Participate in code reviews, pairing sessions, and team design discussions

  • Participate in on call rotation and support production systems

What You'll Bring

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience

  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript on the frontend

  • Proficiency in Python on the backend

  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

  • Experience building and shipping production software

  • Solid understanding of system design fundamentals

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with GraphQL

  • Experience using generative AI tools to improve development workflows

  • Experience working with government contractors

  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance

  • Experience contributing to shared platform or integration layer systems

Compensation Range: $166K
