We are seeking a diligent, helpful Contracts Specialist to manage and optimize our contract lifecycle processes. The person in this role will manage the contracting lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and collaboration while tailoring contracts to meet customer needs and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of contractual agreements in a high-growth company.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete administrative tasks related to contract creation, negotiation, approval, and signature process.

  • Own the accuracy and completeness of contracting lifecycle elements, including proposals, contracts, customer agreements, and closing deals in the CRM.

  • Ensure that all contracts align with company policies, pricing, and legal requirements.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.

  • Ensure contracts are tailored to meet the nuanced needs of each customer.

  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and related documents via a comprehensive contract repository.

  • Own and maintain process documentation as it relates to the contracting lifecycle.

  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on contract procedures and best practices.

  • Collaborate with global internal stakeholders throughout the contracting lifecycle.

  • Utilize technology tools to track and manage contract workflows, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to contracts.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments relevant to contract management.

  • Execute additional projects and tasks as required to support business decisions and operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract management or a similar role.

  • Background in college or professional athletics or experience in a B2B company is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency with Notion, Monday.com or similar project management tools.

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

  • Basic familiarity with Excel and/or Google Suite of Products.

  • Strong understanding of proposals, RFPs, and various contract types.

  • Demonstrated customer-centric approach in handling contract-related inquiries and issues.
