The Challenge:

Global Procurement is responsible for providing strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement operations expertise to support T2 and the labels.

The Director, Technology Sourcing is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across technology categories such as hardware, software, SaaS, and managed services. Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, this role partners with senior technology leaders across the organization to align our third-party ecosystem with our business roadmap. This individual will also be a vital partner in helping to drive the overall strategy of the Global Procurement function.

What You’ll Take On:

  • Partner with the CTO and other senior technology leaders to develop a multi-year sourcing plan for global technology spend, supporting innovation and ensuring continuity of service.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the IT leadership team, translating technical requirements into commercial strategies.
  • Personally lead high-impact enterprise RFPs, renewals, and pricing negotiations (e.g Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, etc.).
  • Foster and develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive innovation, value creation, and long-term success.
  • Navigate a matrixed global organization, balancing the unique technical requirements of individual labels (Rockstar, 2K, Zynga) with the need for enterprise-wide scale and efficiency.
  • Partner with Legal and Security to mitigate risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, supply chain continuity.
  • Champion the rollout and adoption of the new Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform ("Procurement Center") across all IT stakeholder groups.
  • Lead a small, focused team (initially one direct report) and mentor junior members of the Global Procurement organization leveraging a “player-coach” model.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Supply Chain, or relevant field of study is required and 10+ years of technology, procurement, IT operations, or equivalent experience
  • A proven technology sourcing leader who enjoys both shaping long-term category strategy and personally running high-impact enterprise negotiations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively build relationships with people at all levels across the organization including the ability to act as a bridge between IT and Finance
  • Deep understanding of cloud consumption models, software licensing structures, and the current technology vendor landscape inclusive of AI
  • Proven ability to manage complex TCO models, develop a FinOps framework and deliver measurable EBITDA impact
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Comfort working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment

The pay range for this position in New York at the start of employment is expected to be between $150,400 and $222,580 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an ~at-will position~ and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
