About the Company

Tabs is the leading AI-native revenue platform for modern finance and accounting teams. Tabs agents automates the entire contract-to-cash lifecycle, including billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting, to help teams eliminate manual work and accelerate cash flow.

High-growth companies like Cursor and Statsig rely on Tabs to generate invoices directly from contracts, reconcile payments in real time, and automate ASC 606 compliance.

Founded in 2023, Tabs has raised over $91 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Primary. The team is headquartered in New York and brings deep expertise in finance and AI.

About the Role

Tabs is hiring a proven Head of Implementation to build and scale our implementation function as the company goes through significant growth over the next 12 months. This is a foundational leadership role responsible for building the systems, processes, and team that ensure world-class customer delivery at scale, reporting into a Tabs co-founder.

You’ll design the organization, define playbooks, and partner closely with leaders across Product, Delivery, Sales, and Customer Success to create a seamless post-sales experience. You’ll also serve as the executive relationship steward for major customers, driving strategic alignment and ensuring successful go-lives.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and customer success, ideal for a builder who thrives in fast-growing environments and wants to create lasting impact on customer outcomes and company growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and scale a high performing implementation organization that can support Tabs’ next stage of growth

  • Design and operationalize org structure, role alignment, and career paths for the implementation function

  • Partner with Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and unified customer journeys

  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Delivery, and Operations to design processes that drive predictable, high quality outcomes

  • Partner closely with Product leadership to translate customer onboarding challenges, workflow gaps, and adoption insights into roadmap priorities — serving as the "voice of the customer”

  • Serve as the executive relationship steward for key customer implementations, guiding both the team and client stakeholders through complex delivery phases

  • Develop scalable playbooks, systems, and forecasting models for implementation delivery and resourcing

  • Oversee Tabs’ broader professional services strategy, including long term partner and outsourcing opportunities

  • Foster a culture of customer empathy, accountability, and operational excellence across the team

Who You Are

You are a strategic operator and hands on builder who thrives at the intersection of vision and execution. You are energized by the dual challenge of scaling a high growth organization while staying close to the work, engaging directly with customers, mentoring team members, and leading by example.

You excel at bridging strategy and delivery, designing the system, setting the metrics, and jumping in to solve problems when needed. You are equally comfortable talking product integrations with engineers or financial workflows with CFOs, and you bring a bias for clarity, rigor, and impact in everything you do.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience leading implementation, delivery, or professional services in high growth SaaS or AI native startups

  • Proven ability to scale post sales organizations, managing both ICs and first time people managers

  • Experience in finance or accounting software or demonstrated ability to rapidly become a subject matter expert across complex domains. You are an off the charts learner with a proven ability to go deep quickly and translate new concepts across industries.

  • Deep operational and analytical mindset; uses metrics to inform strategy, forecasting, and process design

  • Track record of building trust with executive level customers, aligning teams around shared goals, and driving measurable business impact

  • Highly organized, disciplined, and capable of bringing structure and predictability to fast paced environments

  • Based in New York City in a brand new beautiful office in Soho available to work in office five days per week
